If only he were twelve, it would be far easier to be smiling and happy when dealing with children. Adults, or what these humans called adults, were just far more annoying. "But if you need anything else, I can be found here." Her hand waved toward her makeshift home. Hopefully it was only temporary, but even she doubted that. Ah well, at least she had her toys.
"But you might want to ring the bell next time. You never know what you'll walk in on." Perhaps a dragon's mouth as it clamped down on an intruder or a quick freeze of icy breath. Maybe he'd just walk in on her playing with her toys, at which point no one would fault her for a fatality on the job, right?
