With helping out the police department with the werewolf case and making up a potion to hopefully help Arthur out, with his infection, Phoebe had almost forgotten one of the other important things she had to do since arriving in Red Oak: showing up to Allusions to make sure she really got the job. When she went back to the Manor where she and Prue were staying, she told her older sister about how she'd probably gotten a job and OK, so it was at a karaoke bar and an offer from the guy who gave her a pair of shoes, but... it was a job! That was more luck than she'd ever had back home, since all her searches were usually fruitless or it was a job she didn't particularly enjoy. So long as she didn't end up having a premonition every time she picked something up at Allusions, she'd consider it a step in the right direction.
It was a handful of days after her original job offer, so she hoped that it wasn't off the table just yet, but she did her best, dressed in the trendiest clothes she could find and made sure to wear the shoes Anansi bought for her. She couldn't look like a total club kid but, she needed something that worked with the shoes. Otherwise she'd send a bad message to his P.A. and she was determined to get this job and have that to lord over Prue for a bit. She got a job first. Ha!
Sure, they weren't in normal working hours yet, but if Piper's owning P3 taught her anything, someone would always be inside, doing something. Whether it was inventory or setting up for when they were open, there was bound to be someone inside. So, she let out a bit of a sigh of relief when she approached the bar and spotted someone behind it, probably doing inventory from the looks of things. That month Piper was gone with Leo to visit Up There immediately came to mind and she had to shake her head a bit, because that month was a nightmare and she'd been so sure that Piper would kill her when she came back.
"Hiii," Phoebe began, as she tried to get the attention of the blonde woman. "Is, uh, Anansi or his personal assistant around, by any chance?"
