Rory's reaction, even as she basically reiterated her confession, was nothing short of horror at the idea of drugging her and locking her up. "What? No! That sounds barbaric! God no, I was going to ask if you had sought any psychiatric help." The concerned knit of his brow suggested that even with her misdeeds known he was strongly opposed to that 'solution' to her problems.
"There are medical and therapeutic treatments for dissociative identity disorder. Look, there's no reason to believe the only solution is," he was frustrated enough that he had to pause and force himself to tone down his words which were still quite upset as he continued, "Locking you away in the name of public safety or throwing you to the sharks and telling you that you have to fare on your own. I mean, I'm a nurse, this isn't my area of expertise but I have to imagine there's some middle ground here."
