The Doctors eyes shot open, his eyes coming level with the cold, metal floor of the TARDIS. Confusion set in at first, hands finding a flat purchase on the ground and slowly, he tried to pick himself up. The strange aging Time Lord glanced around, searching for Amy and Rory. When he couldn't see them, panic struck.
"Amy! Rory!" he shouted, stumbling around the TARDIS console. No reply... the TARDIS was near silent, save all the familiar sounds she made. The way she seemed to breath, her every thought and memory pulsing in a silent psychic song only the Doctor could hear. He rushed over to the console and pulled the screen out to the side, trying to find some information about where they had landed. But there was nothing. They were in a place that not even the TARDIS knew anything about. That... was terrifying. That was wrong. The Doctor shook his head and stared at the screen in disbelief. "No, no no!" he shouted, pushing the screen back into it's place angrily. Such frustration... such anger.
His head was spinning, lost to a state of confusion he wasn't comfortable with. His hand came up to is forehead rather ridgedly, elbow crooked outwards, his fingers tangling through that floppy fringe of his. Maybe... they were outside, yes, that was it! They could be, or maybe they weren't here at all?He made sure everything was in his pockets before dashing towards the door, unlocking it and opening the door. Once he had stepped outside, he locked the door behind him and paused to take a look at his new surroundings.
The first thing he noticed was the sky. Blue... clouds, sort of like Earth but... it wasn't. It didn't smell the same, the air didn't taste the same way and as to the planets shift? It didn't feel right, it felt so unfamiliar to him. Green grass beneath his feet, okay that was common enough. He stopped to jump up and down on the spot, testing the planets shift again. It felt solid, it felt normal, but... Something was wrong, very wrong. He wasn't supposed to be a place like this. Did this have anything to do with the Pandorica? Something he hadn't foreseen? Or was this something else, something bigger?
He looked around again and crossed his arms loosely underneath his chest, frowning a touch. New place to explore, new things to discover. An entire mystery, landed right in his lap... The Doctor smiled wickedly to himself. "I love a good challenge"
