The Players : Tanith & Anansi.
What: Fun times at Allusions.
Where : Allusions, baby!
When : November 10, 2011. (Oh, backdating, baby.)
Rating : Psh. If it gets higher than a PG13, it's only because of language.
Notes : A dragon cop, a god of mischief, karaoke and chocolatinis. Someone is bound to get corrupted.
Tanith was a great many things. She was person dedicated to enforcing the law, in her own way, she was a lover of treasure, she was loyal to people and ideals she found worthy, she wasn't the type to engage in most human ideas of revelry, but mostly she was a dragon. Yet here she was on the sidewalk, staring at the sign that "Allusions". It was perhaps the one place she might never have gone to in her age. What self respecting dragon of twenty-five thousand and some odd years would go to a place where karaoke was key? Apparently this one, because she was here. With a resigned sigh, Tanith entered the building. She would at least get herself a chocolatini and perhaps chatting with Anansi wouldn't be so bad. He'd managed to talk her down from being cranky as it were simply in text. She was rather curious to see how capable he was when dealing with her in person.
She found herself blinking back the surprise at the interiors of the building. It was bigger on the inside and it made her wonder what magic he used for it. It could have been science, but after his show of relieving her from work, Tanith was thinking he was more arcane inclined than technology based. That worked well for her, as she'd spent her life around magic until the IDPD. As she looked for the bar, Tanith's instincts were switched on. The busy place, she was surprised at just how busy a karaoke place would be in this day and age, was of course filled with people and they appeared to enjoy themselves. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, if anything people were genuinely having a good time. In her opinion, it bode well for Anansi that he had a successful business. It meant he was more intelligent than he appeared and Tanith had to respect that possibility.
Once at the bar, she stole herself a seat from a man wandering off to follow some girl half his age. She snapped her fingers to get the bartender's attention as she grabbed a bowl of pretzels. "Pretty boy, get me a chocolatini, will you?" As she waited for her drink, she turned around to watch a pair of girls on stage singing about Electric Youth.
