Yet again she took him by surprise and yet again, Castiel did little more than freeze on the spot at the initial contact. He knew he couldn't blame it on the alcohol. Or the rain itself. However the contrast between the warmth of her body and the cold rain was...strangely pleasing.
Castiel allowed his eyes to slip closed and his hand to rest at her hip, tongue gently begging entrance to her mouth. It wasn't new anymore - it felt familiar. Exciting. More so each time this happened. And he didn't really want to let her go.
She didn't taste like ashes. For now, all he could taste was maple syrup.
