Meg closed her eyes for a moment and then opened them again. "There's a difference, Clarence, trust me."
She hesitated a moment. "It's the difference between exchanging saliva with someone you know or like and between exchanging it with someone who you don't know or even hate."
There was also the question of consent, but sometimes kissing wasn't consensual, so she didn't bring it up.
"I don't want some hooker's saliva on my pancakes," she said after a moment.
