Meg grinned, tipping her head to the side to watch him pay for the drinks. She pulled herself off the stool and stood up. She brought her arms up above her head, stretching as she did so.
Meg raised an eyebrow at him. "Let's go for a walk," she said. "We can't sit here all night drinking this bar out of it's supplies." She grinned. "But I know a diner down the road that won't mind us buying them out of pancakes."
Meg realised this probably wasn't the best idea she'd ever had. But she also didn't want to continue sitting here. And she wasn't quite ready to be alone again either.
"You scared off my company for the evening, Clarence," she said, smiling. "The least you can do is replace them for awhile."
