Lois chewed her bottom lip in thought. Even if he hadn't been goldenized when she hugged him, did she really want to risk it again by taking that hand of his? "Maybe I should go get cleaned up and changed first. I mean, I've been out of it a week. And I'm pretty sure I don't need to be wandering around like this," she gestured to the costume she was still wearing. Oddly enough it looked perfectly intact and clean to boot. It made her wonder if dragons did dry cleaning these days. Besides, the distraction of grooming would keep her from risking Steve a little bit longer. She was determined not to actually touch him again until she knew it was safe. Just because she got lucky this time didn't mean it was over.
She stood up on her own, a little shaky but stable, and made sure that any part of Rogers that she had to touch was covered in material. "The park I was in, it was um.." She wracked her brain for the sign she knew she'd seen. "The Fred Johnson one." A weird name for a park but okay. "So it might have been a patrolman in that area. He was in uniform, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a costume. I didn't get a look at his badge and the light was bad, but he red hair and it was styled kind of like yours." What else could she remember? "He was slimmer and shorter than you too." Maybe what details he did remember would help in tracking him down and making sure he was in the land of the living and not in a fountain somewhere.
