"It's a bit like a fairy tale," Amy concluded, when the Doctor turned to her, after his gasp. The grin that overtook her features was proof she didn't mind so much anymore, her life being a bit of a fairy tale or her name. It was just that she grew up and she grew up with that sense of being let down by the Doctor. But, he was making up for it now, she supposed. "How long before you think a knight in shining armor shows up or someone has to be rescued from a tower?" Her tone was amused as she asked this, because every fairy tale had that and with a dragon roaming about, it didn't seem too off to think that someone might come along after it.
"Metropolis, that's the abandoned city, the one like in the comics about Superman, right?" Amy asked this, to make sure she had it straight that was the place the Doctor was talking about. She'd only explored so much of Red Oak and a little at a time and with Metropolis being a bit of a walk from Red Oak, she didn't really venture that far out. Her curiosity about the place was high, however, because it was abandoned. And it was a nice change of pace. When the Doctor began to ramble, Amy affectionately rolled her eyes a bit, before giving him a light shove on the shoulder, as her own little effective way to tell him to shut up. "Alright, Doctor. Let's go to Metropolis! Maybe we'll even see Superman."
