The new information that they might be stuck here didn't sit well with Amy, because she didn't want to be stuck in Red Oak, Delaware forever. Compared to Leadworth, Red Oak was much more exciting, but when she ran off with the Doctor, she thought she was going to see all of time and space! To go from that, to being stuck in America... it was, well, boring. The Halloween ball hadn't been boring, about as exciting as one of her adventures with the Doctor, what with being mute and acting a bit off, thanks to taking on characteristics of the Little Mermaid and trying not to get attacked by zombies, with Rory. So, when the Doctor told her they were going to go explore, she jumped at it, happy to get out there, in the thick of it and maybe they'd figure out something.
She hadn't really been to the library, but she knew where it was, so it didn't take her long to find it and notice the Doctor pacing along the steps in front. It made her laugh, a little, although that was to hide the fact she was a bit worried. That woman over the communications said they were stuck here. That couldn't be, right? There'd be a way to fix it. There always was, with the Doctor. And there were three of him here, so that put them ahead of the game, she thought.
"Heeeeey!" Amy called out, as she approached the stairs in front of the library, her pace picking up a bit as she got closer. "Alright, Doctor, you promised me an adventure," she told him, as her hands came to her hips, looking at him expectantly.
