As always, he looked to the man with suspicion in his Mako-infused eyes. He had run across too many types like those he knew in Shin-Ra to let his guard down around strangers. If anyone wanted his trust, they had to work for it.
He didn't think his outfit was out of the ordinary, but he didn't put much stock into those kind of thoughts anyway. The black outfit from head to foot worked for what he needed it for. The silver wolf-shaped Fenrir symbol on his shoulder piece might cause people to believe it had some sort of religious symbolism, but it didn't.
"It's just a light," he told him with a shrug like it wasn't that strange. He didn't know what was harder to believe, someone who didn't know what a library was or someone who didn't know what a light was, "But, I don't know what you're talking about with the air. It smells normal for me. It's everything else that's weird."
