"That doesn't make any sense," Hermione told him as Draco revealed the last thing he remembered. Maybe she had been right when it came to that amnesia thing. "Dumbledore has been gone for a while now. Voldemort came back, he took over everything, but we won in the end. Harry defeated him. You helped us when we were dragged to Malfoy Manor." In a way, at least.
Hermione knew she was just telling him bits and pieces and they weren't even in any kind of proper order, but her experience during the war had been different to those that hadn't been camping for a year, and she didn't know how to explain it to someone who had been left behind. Especially someone a part of the wrong side.
"It's over," she insisted. "Things are peaceful. I mean, we're still rebuilding but... There's no war."
