"Four year ago," the Queen heir repeated, letting the words settle into his head. He felt the words could be trusted coming from this apparent older version of Bart. Looking him over, he reasoned the differences between the Impulse he knew, and the one before him could easily have changed as he had in four years. He was super powered, but not without the capability of change. It made the Green Arrow curious, finally answering with, "Four years is a hell of a lot of time to be missing." It was his way of confirming that was the last big event he could recall between the two of them. Something he sounded regretful about. At least he didn't abandon him. It seemed Oliver Queen still existed in his timeline. Good. He couldn't keep his team safe if he was dead.
Oliver was convinced some time he'd go back home-- whatever he called home at the time at least-- so it was tempting to use the future to his advantage. If he knew about the botched missions... he could do something to prevent them, but it was a risky idea. Both because it would make him seem like he was using Bart, which he didn't want to do, (that would make him no better than a Luthor), and also because he didn't know what kind of effects this would have. Breaking rules came with a price. He'd dwell on it a while. Decide what was best for him and his team, "Well, now that we got that figured out, you alright?" Checking over his charge, he looked for any obvious scrapes or damage that he should look into him finding a doctor for. At an immediate glance, he looked fine and Oliver hoped that was so, "Didn't come into a meteor rock freakfest did you?" He still didn't know what he killed that night, over a month ago. A demon did Buffy say? There was still so much he didn't understand here. Even after all this time.
