She wouldn't find herself alone in her new surroundings for much longer, as there was an old man wandering the lovely, albeit empty, park. As always, Fizban was dressed to what he thought were the nines, a raggedy old patch work wizard robe of varying colors and fabrics, and a tattered old wizard hat that had a few singe marks and tilted dangerously off to one side.
His staff was in hand as he strolled over to the girl, completely oblivious to the fact that he really shouldn't have been in the city, and pointed his staff at the statue. "See that? Vanity. I don't care what they say, he's not that super. A good fireball would take that down in a flash." He scoffed at the statue and pulled a handful of candy corn out of one of the many worn pouches on his belt. He held out his hand, offering the candy to her. "Ah, there we go. You kids like candy, right? Don't have a van to go with it, but it's just as well, lost my license when I drove into that snowdrift. Or was that when I lost Timmy? Wait, I don't think I know a Timmy.. then who was it I lost?"
Befuddled, the old man shook his head. "I don't even think I gave him candy either.. Oh, wait! No. That wasn't me. That was Lassie. Great show. Lovely dog. Could use a bit of color though, don't you think?" Fizban smiled at her, his own little world of crazy shutting out anything sane and orderly in his mind.
