She lowered her own hands and sighed. The bouncy persona vanished and serious Buffy was now in play. It kind of helped that she had finally noticed, who she was pretty sure was Harley (was she in a jester costume?) lurking about the graveyard, so she felt she had some back up if she needed it. "I think.. I might know what your problem is. But I'm going to need you to hear me out and not go throwing spells at me. It's really not that fun and frankly I don't want this to end in violence."
She hoped he'd be willing to listen to what passed for reason around here. She didn't want the night to end up in blood or tears, but she'd make sure to avoid going down if she could help it. "So if you're willing to listen, I'll play information girl for you."
