Characters: Alexandra Crowe and Bailey Kinlan
When: Monday night 9.30pm
Location: Cabin 6
Warnings/Rating: language
Summary: roommate!
Status: closed, ongoing
Alex yawned briefly before setting her book aside and looking at her phone for the time. She shook her head slightly. She was still worn out from the week of very little sleep she had had, and from her walk this morning, but she wasn't ready to head to bed just yet. For one thing it would seriously mess with her normal sleeping patterns, and for another thing Bailey still hadn't made an appearance from his room. She rubbed her eyes, sighing. She briefly spent time with Bailey during the last week, but she wasn't sure to expect from him as a roommate.
She got up from where she was sitting in the recliner, and stretched lightly, then she headed into the kitchen to grab one of the sodas she had brought over from the keep earlier. She wasn't sure how she felt about sharing a cabin with one of the guys, though she figured she'd probably get along better with him than with one of the girls. She had always had a hard time making friends with women. It was one of the things that pissed of Charlie too, that she had so many male friends.
Glancing at Bailey's door she decided to not disturb him, and instead went and stood in front of the window, gazing out into the darkness. This week thus far seemed like it was going to be much easier than last week. Except for the missing kittens. She hoped everyone would be able to find them all. In her mind having animals that young god knows where in the dome was beyond cruel. She also knew there was jack shit she could do about it.
She leaned her head against the window the night was so dark and slightly cloudy, she shivered slightly in unease. She didn't know if the peace out there was just a false peace, or if there was something lurking that the producers just hadn't revealed yet. Closing her eyes for comfort, she began singing softly a lullaby her mother used to sing to her whenever she was uneasy.
A small tear ran down her cheek as she finished. She missed her mother, missed the bright and lively woman she had been before Alex's father had died. She opened her eyes and stared out the window again, searching the darkness for answers she knew weren't there. She was so caught up in thought that she never heard Bailey's door open as he finally emerged from his room.
