Sin stood outside the door of cabin nine, debating fully exactly why it was she was here and pacing back and forth as she did so. Each step made her hoodie satchel full of water bang off of her leg but the rhythm made it easier to think. Jeno had said that she came recommended for certain things. The only two she could think of were healing and murder. And she couldn’t even do the first anymore. That was a relief but also yet another burden. She had been glad for the break but now that times were going to get tough again, and they would because they always did, who was going to fix anyone? Well, Jaime didn’t need fixed anymore. Sin could fix herself. But what about Dahlia? What about Jake? What about the people those two people cared about? Or the people that actually deserved to be healed because they got injured doing something for the greater good of the group? Maybe Jaime was right. Maybe they had just bounced it around and someone else here was going to wind up with it. Perhaps Jeno now had it and he wanted tips or tricks and she didn’t have many of those other than heal where you are comfortable from because you are going to fucking drop. Just because Jake carried her back to her cabin didn't mean he would do it for everyone. She'd like to think not anyway. Or maybe Jeno really did just want her to kill someone. But who? Had he been here long enough to absolutely hate someone? While she was outside pondering if she should knock on the door or just turn around and walk away, Pace exited the cabin with plans of going to the Keep for a swim, stopped, and they just stared at each other for a second. Well, this was awkward. “Can I help you?” he questioned. “Umm. Jeno wanted to see me. About a thing. Said this was where he would be when I was ready.” What thing, she still had no idea but it was too late to back out now. Hadn’t he been very specific about not cuddling up to the healer because she was a fucking murderer because he was pretty sure he had been. “Oh. Okay then.” He wasn’t going to offer to let her inside the cabin because if she killed Jeno, he would prefer that to not be on his hands thank you very much. “So I’m just gonna…” he motioned with a hand and headed off to the Keep. He didn’t know and he didn’t want to know. Sin just watched as he walked away. Shouldn’t he have let her inside the cabin? Or was it still polite to go through the whole knocking business even if you saw someone’s roommate? That was probably what was going on here. So she moved to the front door of the cabin and rapped on it. |
