Marking Territory Characters: Jesse and Cole When: Wednesday, mid-morning Location: their shared bathroom Warnings/Rating: TBD Summary: Cole meets his new suitemate, lucky him. Status: Closed, ongoing
Jesse was kind of enjoying himself here so far. Which wasn't really what he'd expected, but he would take it. Sure, he could usually entertain himself for a while, but a year was a long-ass time and maybe he'd sort of expected to be bored of the place already. He wasn't, and that was good. He was hoping to last at least a week. It was a much nicer house than he was at all used to, the food was okay and the scenery was nice -- for the moment, anyway -- and everybody he'd met so far was pretty cool. Which wasn't a lot of people, granted, but still. He hadn't even met his suitemate yet.
Which might have contributed to why he was in the bathroom at the moment, in a pair of boxers and a t-shirt and his own big retro headphones, singing rather loudly to himself. He'd swiped one of the iPods and what do you know, it wasn't terrible music. Mostly hard rock and rap, but Jesse could live with that. It was better than country, blech. And if he couldn't have his CD player to listen to his own shit, he could at least claim one of the better sources of music. He'd even written his name on the back of it in Sharpie.
The self-same Sharpie that was in his hand at the moment, as he bopped around and sang off-key and doodled along the edges of the mirror on his side of the bathroom. If he was going to live here for a year, he wanted to make certain things his.
