It was another lame challenge, which Min wouldn't have bothered with except there was a chance of getting something for it. She'd only put in one or two requests but it would still be nice to have something fulfilled. There had only been one non-contest-related request fulfillment that she knew of, and now they were five weeks deep so it seemed like the producers weren't feeling too generous with handing out things their contestants wanted. Whatever, they'd be giving away a million dollars a pop at the end of it all. This was something she felt fully confident she could do herself, but when April had posted looking for a partner she'd thought, what the hell, I'll buddy up. As far as she was concerned April could just sit there and look pretty while she speed-shaped the sand sculpture. It suited her just fine. After donning a yellow bikini Min raced out to the beach to get ready for a partial afternoon of artwork. She was no artist, but as fast as she could move now, and as long as she could maintain her speed lately, it didn't matter. She could trial and error that task until there was no sand left on the fake beach. As soon as she was close to the water's edge she started, piling sand into a large mound almost as tall as she was. The bigger it was, the easier it would be to add detail. April was supposed to meet her out there with the sketches around this time, so after the mound was mostly constructed she took a break. |
