Characters: Alexandra Crowe and Open
When: Tuesday Afternoon around 3 pm
Location: Outside in the woods
Warnings/Rating: Mild language
Summary: Alex thinks Bailey is messing with her
Status: Open
Alex wandered around outside alone trying to find comfort in the trees around her. For some reason it wasn't working, just like her powers weren't working on the trees or the other plants around. She had tried her powers on some of the fruit seeds that had been left for her in the Keep, and they sprouted. It seemed like for some reason though she couldn't affect the other plants in the dome. This made her anxious at first, then she began getting suspicious. Some one had to be blocking her ability to use her powers out here. Maybe... maybe Bailey had done something to her while she was sleeping. That had to be it. How could he? He knew how happy being able to use her powers made her. She glanced over her shoulder toward where the cabins were, eyes narrowing. She clenched her fists, ready to storm back to the cabin to confront him, when she caught movement out of the corner of her eye.
She turned her head to to watch as a ... was that a phoenix? It broke out of the tree canopy and soared across the sky in a blaze of fire. It was beautiful, but for some reason she just couldn't enjoy it. The nagging in the back of her head that Bailey was doing something to her. She didn't want to confront him just yet, she wanted proof that he was fucking with her. And to think she actually let her guard down enough to trust him? Ohh no that wasn't going to happen again. There was no way that she was going to let a man use her and lie to her and hurt her ever again!
She turned away from the cabins and started running as fast as she could through the strange woods. It was exhilarating to run and not become winded. And she just kept going, pushing herself as hard as she could. It felt good to just leave everything behind her as she ran. She just let all of the stress and the anger go as she went.... Then she tripped hard over a tree root that she hadn't seen in her way. She went sprawling, hitting the ground with her hands. Pain shot up through her arms as she landed, and she bit back a scream. pushing her self up she winced as pain traveled up her arms. God Damn it! she thought angrily. Fucking Bailey, he had to be around here somewhere, laughing at her. Probably used his wind powers to push her into tripping. "That's it," she muttered, "I'm done playing Miss Nice Guy." Glaring back the way she came she began to stalk her way home to confront her roommate.
