Sam followed Fred and stopped just in the door of the bathroom, hovering as he waited to see why she was headed there.
"It's not often that I want to kill something," he corrected her. It might be semantics, but to Sam it was a big difference.
"I do what I have to to make sure that people are safe. I don't know enough about Aidan the vampire to know what needs to be done." He shrugged. There were a lot of questions right now and even if Dean had the answers, his brother hadn't exactly been forthcoming.
"I've known vampires who could sustain themselves on animal blood, even against their natural instincts to hunt us. If Aidan's not going to hurt anyone, then I'd rather just let him be."
He still didn't know if Aidan being a vampire was a new, recent thing or if the guy they'd all gotten to know just happened to be a vampire. Or if he was a really good liar and had been playing them all while taking innocent victims. All of those things would play a part in what Sam thought was the 'right' thing to do in this situation.
