"When I was a girl, right after my surgery I had a crush on one of the ushers in the opera house. He was much older than I was, but whenever I saw him I felt this little spark inside of me light up. Of course, he died shortly after I started to make a name for myself. Repossession." She explained, before shrugging her shoulders, "And the occasional starlet fling, but other than that there hasn't been anyone. My singing consumed my life and I belonged to Rotti. I served him and that was it." She said softly.
"It wasn't that I didn't want to date, or to be in love. Marni, my best friend, she was married and had a family and a daughter. I wanted that too, but I just never had the same oppertunity. I think it was due to the fact that Rotti was bitter about her having a family with someone else. He may have not wanted to lose two of his best divas to relationships. But I'm not exactly sure. I paid for Marni's mistake, but she was true to her heart when she married Nathan, so I have no regrets."
