The collie barked a few times, prancing a bit in the snow. What the hell had he just seen? That wasn't natural, and yes, he didn't miss the irony of that. Then again, if he were the debating sort, he'd point out that in his world, he was very much natural. He was a whole hell of a lot more natural than the vampires. His tail wagged slightly at first as he stood on all fours.
He sniffed at the air, testing. He pranced a little more, not sure if he should go closer, as this woman smelled like nothing he had caught scent of before. Just a sidestep or two before he took a few steps closer. He could run at anytime. He could run and change as he did so. He could get free as he wanted. Mostly.
He took a few more steps and was so very close. She didn't look right, or at least not what he was used to.
