She hadnt complimented him to make him feel better about himself, she was merely pointing out that his heart was in the right place, and she glanced up at him long enough to catch the color flush into the swells of his cheeks, though she simply took it as a reaction to the cold. It was pretty dang cold outside.
"Don't sell yourself short. If we had more people like you in my world, perhaps the population wouldn't be as troubled or proud." She said with a sigh, turning her attention back to the street.
When he mentioned this not being like the opera but still being nice, Mag nodded, "Its different watching someone else perform, but I like it. It's very nice. Refreshing almost." She said with a smile, taking in everything that was happening. Her mind was recording the things she was seeing to save the performance for later so she could watch it again if she so chose.
Singing and performing had been her life for over twenty years, and it was going to be hard to give it up so quickly, but she would manage and she knew Evey didn't mind her singing, so she at least had her apartment to sing to if nothing else.
