Her eyes were organic, Carlos had nothing to worry about in terms of her having a power shortage, that was at least until she lost function of her brain and then they might have a problem, but that wasn't something she worried about. It wasn't like she was just going to go back to being blind suddenly, she had good technology and though her eyes were over twenty years old, they were still like new.
She held back a remark about him grabbing her by the arm, a gesture he seemed very fond of doing when they were together, sliding her arm out of his hand when they'd reached the performers. She found certain actions tolerable and that was definitely not one of them, no matter who it was. So, trying not to see like it bothered her, Mag just curled her free arm around one of Carlos's as they stood, wiling to let him guide her but in a different way. She finished her treat in a few moments more, sliding her other hand back into her pocket. With the hand she had curled around Carlos's arm, her fingers brushed over his sleeve delicately, head tilted curiously as she watched the performers. She had street performers I'm her world but they were different than these and she welcomed the change.
She listened as Carlos explained that people here would give them things, finding it admirable that he was willing to trade. She had nothing to give, and she felt the same way about that as Carlos did, she wouldn't ask for something with nothing to offer in return. 'Chosen' or not. It just wasn't fair to take advantage of people, especially when they didn't even know what they were against or fighting for.
"That's admirable of you, Carlos." She breathed, eyes swirling as she watched the performance, a small smile on her lips. She missed the stage terribly.
