"You are breeding your own humans here, then?" Pam hadn't moved from her spot, but she was now curious to see what might be outside. The fact that anyone had kept her maker, or someone like him, pent up or forced him to fight upset her. She did not like thinking of Eric in this way. She didn't seem bothered by the revelation that he killed the previous ruler; it was as it should be.
"You walk in the sunshine, and it is your woman's doing. Her blood is different. Though to need her to walk in the sunshine." She gave a hint of a shrug again. "It is more work than necessary. She tastes good, and she is a good lay. I like her more than Sookie. Much more than that insipid human who makes you a complete fool." Her nose wrinkled, and she certainly sounded bitter now. The way she spoke of the second human may sound as if she meant Sookie, but it was more likely a completely different person.
"She is the other reason why I have been forced to fight vampires. I could have died because of her, and all she could do was scream once I killed the bastard. He ripped my dress." She shook her head. "At least now I do not need to see her." There was a silver lining.
