"That's the gist of the prophecy." Eric told her. And it really was. The short version, maybe. But he didn't want to get into the long version. Especially not if she wasn't one of the people who could potentially live in New Troy thus helping it.
"It sounds like you got the better end of the bargain." He admitted, grudgingly. To have things given when they were needed, even if they weren't needed, would be nice. Instead of having to make sure the area was well guarded, or struggling to make sure the people were fed and safe.
He did feel some concern over what she was saying. The fact that her world... or whatever it was... seemed to be a warrior of kinds and that it wouldn't appreciate that it had been stolen from. It could mean very bad things for the place he'd made into his home.
