"Being in demand is complimentary, if not always great. Trust me," Tony said. He was in huge demand, but that was why he was so independent and limited his consultation hours. He'd never get to do his own thing if he was always helping other people figure out their problems.
"Of course it's easier. And usually more boring," he grunted. Fixing somebody else's genius was always easier than having to create some of your own.
"Well. I'm thinking you're not willing to do the wakeup routines or cook, but those duties aside, you're welcome to stay here and fill in for the AI who couldn't project himself through a transdimensional portal," he offered, making it sound like his technological butler was incompetent for loosing touch with him when his suit died. "I could use somebody who can work the software for me till I get enough to build a capable computer."
The suit buzzed with approval at the idea of her sticking around, although it also sent her a warning to not let him get away with staring at her inappropriately.
