He was still struggling with the finer tuning of the Iron Man suit, and without Jarvis around to run full diagnostics he was having to manually and physically check every piece of hardware on the suit, and needed to build a computer to check the software. This was all taking a lot of time and he wasn't sure he'd get all of the software sorted out without getting back home. Which meant the suit was limited.
Tony hated limitations.
He stalked down the street with another bag of goodies, piecing together drill even as he walked. When he was agitated he worked harder and it was taking too much time to go get supplies, so now he worked while he shopped.
He jerked, almost running into a small, confused looking blonde standing outside of the door to the Chosen's apartments. He nearly stumbled off the sidewalk to avoid her, lowering the screwdriver and tool in his hand and giving her an impatient look.
"That is a door. It's function is to open to allow people in or out of buildings. If you're done with it, you might consider moving aside to let others use it," he said. He wasn't normally short with pretty women, even if they were a bit young looking for him, but he also was never one to try to control his own feelings.
