"Ow," she muttered, sitting up too as she glanced over at him, her vision blurry for a moment and her head suddenly pounding over suddenly hitting the grass. Hard.
"What the hell just happ--" she started and then she realized grass, and they were surrounded by trees. She sat up instantly and glanced at Oliver, then around them, her eyes wide.
She knew of alternate realities, of being transported to places and suddenly being transported back, even if it had never technically happened to her. And she knew exactly how people usually found themselves in places they didn't belong.
Holding her breath, she turned to Oliver again. "What did you touch?"
