Despite knowing it was a person she had backed into, Mag couldn't help squeeze her eyes tightly and hold back a shout and her hand fell back to her side from where it had been at her lips. Perhaps it was all of the tension that had been building inside of her that had her so jumpy and wound like a tight spring. Whatever it was it needed to stop. She hated feeling that way and so instead of releasing the scream Mag instead forced herself to breathe.
And as the kind words came the breath she had released became less tense and more relaxed. Slowly her eyes opened, the electricity swirling in them as she turned her head to look over her shoulder at the man she had bumped into. The expression he wore didn't surprise her at all.
When he dropped his hands from her shoulders Mag turned completely around to face the man, stepping back some to give him room, "Excuse me, I wasn't looking where I was going," she said softly, before glancing over her shoulder at the fallen beast. With a sigh, Mag shook her head and returned her gaze to the man, "Do you know what happened here?" She felt that was a fair question to ask, and though her tone held no demand it was full of concern.
If there was ever a time she didn't feel safe behind the walls of die Festung it was now.
