Sam reached out and pulled Dean into a hug. Maybe it was partly to hide the fact that there were tears in his eyes. Mostly it was because he knew just what that car meant. He knew more than anyone.
A lot had changed in this world and in some ways, Sam felt as though he'd left his brother behind. He'd found a little piece of happily ever after, just a little slice of normalcy amidst more crazy than they'd ever seen, and he'd taken it. On the other hand, Dean seemed to be repeatedly kicked while he was down here. So Sam knew that this was probably harder for his big brother than it was for him. Which was certainly saying something as he stared at the mass of plantlife and tried to shove aside the feelings of loss.
