When he stopped and turned, so did she. Those blue-green eyes softened a little at his declaration. She knew it meant that he cared about her, not that he was trying to stop her from what she was meant to be. Leeloo set a hand on the side of his arm, having learned that it was calming, having learned that it was nice.
"I was made to stop danger," she said gravely. "'Protect life, until death.' That's what I was created to do. I will be in danger sometimes. I will protect you, too."
