Mag listened. She was glad he knew the Opera, and it pleased her that he could understand the beauty and the power. It had taken her a long time to achieve the level that she was at, and she would hate to waste her talent while being in this world. She wished there was a place to perform, an opera house of some time to perform at. She would do such a thing for free, of course. No payment was ever worth the gift music could bring.
"Thank you. I've worked on it for a long time." She smiled radiantly at him, "It pleases me that your were able to hear my song. If there was a place to perform here i would do so willingly. Singing was my life before I came here." And Peter was right. This place could use a lot of hope.
Despite what he had been through Mag could sense he was good, ultimately. Everyone made mistakes but they shouldn't have to be bound to them. The world moved on, and as long as he wasnt hurting people continuously, she could forgive him.
"Carlos means a good deal to me, too," She explained, her expression softening when his name left her lips. "We're sort of together...." There wasnt an official title. But her heart told her they didn't need one. And she knew he didn't stray.
Mag wasnt entirely sure how she felt about Eric. He had sort of popped up out of nowhere and seemed to be friends with Carlos. She had met him briefly at the hospital after Carlos had been admitted, and he had given her a black feather to give to Carlos which she almost hadnt. But she did, and Carlos had seemed to recognize it for what it held.
"Well, from what I've met of Leeloo, she seems wonderful. It's great that you and she are doing so well." Mag knew there had been problems, but she wasnt going to bring them up. She was just glad they had been able to work through them and overcome them.
