"We shall see." Bane had no idea if this version would be different. He could hope, but hope was a dangerous thing. Hope held cities aloft when they needed to fall. Hope kept people going, when they needed to let go. Perhaps he could have hope that this version would do what she needed to do and stand strong in the face of that which might scare her, instead of attempting to flee.
