Kitty had lived through much, pain, chaos, destruction, but that didn't mean a little rattling could be easily slept through. Rather than stay in bed, Kitty had claimed a certain dragon to curl up on the couch and simply exist. They hadn't spent much time together as of late, so she was taking the sleepless moment to snuggle one of the other important beings in her life.
"It's been worse," she mumbled softly as things continued to shake and shimmy in a not so pleasant way. Lockheed nuzzled into her shoulder and nipped at her hair, supporting her as he did. They would have stayed that way had the world decided not to stay with the "mild" distruptions.
Lockheed took to the air, what he could get in the apartment, and Kitty found her feet. They were both in battle/emergency mode even before the big fellow came into the living room.
"Piotr! We're right here!" She started moving toward him, managing to keep on her feet rather than tumbling with the shifting floor. It was practice and a little mutant ability thrown in. She wasn't at all dressed for saving people, but that hadn't stopped her before. "You go down, I'll go up?"
