Harry cocked an eyebrow at her. "Sharing a mind?" He huffed a bit and growled, "He better be turning that off during showers."
He agreed with her suggestion, and would have told Mouse to go along with her anyway. Harry was sure he would be fine on his own, just as sure as Mouse would protect Evey. And anyone else. The dog was selfless like that.
Jogging lightly beside them, Mouse make a slight sound and perked his ears up at Harry. "No, I'm not giving you to her. Just stick by her, okay? And let me know if there's trouble."
The Foo dog huffed and slowed just just long enough to race back up beside Evey. To her, Harry instructed, "He knows what to do. Just tell him if you want him to do anything specific. And if he growls at anyone, you get away from them."
