The shaking would start back up soon, and Mag didn't want to be standing outside alone when it ensued. She was already shaken (in a literal and physical sense) enough, and her heart was racing faster than it ever had before. And not in a way she had ever wanted it to. She had never felt more fear in her life than when she was brought here. In a way it made her stronger, more aware of the world, and the darkest part of her wished desperately to be back in her apartment even though she knew her fare would've been sealed. But her heart kept telling her this was where she was supposed to be. Needed or not.
She had met up with Evey on the street after the first round of shaking, and her petite neighbor had told the once-blind diva that she could be of some use at the hospital. So that's as where the starlet went after checking in with Carlos and making sure he knew where she was going.
Alone, she arrived at the building that served as the hospital, hoping there was something she could do. Her eyes swirled blue, taking in everything around her as she pushed through the doors. Instantly every sound filled her ears and she frowned. She'd always hated hospitals. In her world people didn't bother setting foot in a hospital unless they had money. Most operations could be done in back alleys and dark, secluded rooms. Zydrate was their curse.
Here it was different and it seemed people actually needed help. She looked to see if there was anyone she knew, a face her mind would register and she hoped she wasn't in the way. Helping was something she was good at when it was required and she wasn't above getting her hands dirty.
