It was an easy enough request and Mag was sure she could comply with it. She could just motion, if it came to that, or just assume that anyone good would follow her without question.
When Carlos pulled from the embrace, Mag slid her hand into his and walked with him to the couch. She settled on the couch next to Carlos, her hand squeezing his own once the question was posed about the blackout. If she saw anything.
She frowned, but kept her composure.
"Yes. It actually wasn't seeing, persay. My eyes..." She breathed, lifting her free hand to her face, the tips of her fingers glancing over her eyebrows for a moment. "They were beginning to fail me." Her voice broke just a little, the dear she experienced that day slowly flooding back into her mind. Lowering her hand, Mag took a breath and straightened her frame as her eyes met Carlos' before she spoke again, "My eyes are old. I saw hazes of images...and a ring. A silver one maybe. It was hard to make out but it was almost like I was wearing it because I had gotten married. Or at least that felt right when I thought it. I can't be quite sure."
The fear of going blind again, of losing the sight gifted to her was something she was very afraid of. She hadnt feared it before. Before she left her world but now she had a second chance and it seemed her technology wasn't going to hold here in this world. She wasn't exactly sure of there was anyone here that could help her, either.
