Enigma was just outside the settlement, not far from Damon's reach, but far enough away that the constant hunger could be calmed without the sound of blood rushing through veins and hearts pounding merrily away in chests.
She sighed, gripping her hair for a moment before suddenly kicking out, the tree she was aiming for splitting with the vampire's strength, the destruction releiving some of her stress.
She was hungry and it was driving her mad, unable to feed for the moment since she didn't have a donor standing near by and Damon was trying to teach her control, meaning he wouldn't give her any blood for another few hours.
She pouted at the split tree, searching her pockets for another blood sucker, knowing she would have to make more soon before she went completely batty and ended up going on an all you can drink binge of the innocents (and not so innocent in Selina and Jonathan's cases).
Sliding the dark red sucker into her mouth she gave a happy sigh as the nutrients in the 'treat' hit her system, her cravings backing down, skin no longer trying to crawl off her body. It wasn't the same as fresh from the vein, but it would do for the moment until Damon stopped playing keep away.
