Marluxia took a step back before he jumped up onto the overhanging path Kuja had vacated moments before. Though this world wasn't as overrun with darkness as some of the world they had visited had been, it was still fairly easy to open up the gates of darkness and coax out the countless heartless. The small creatures tumbled out of the swirling vortexes, tumbling over each other in an almost comical manner. All their attention however was on Kuja and his heart as they started to creep closer. Marluxia could hear the chattering of their not-voices as they circled the man, drawing ever closer, almost as if they were waiting for an unknown signal, before suddenly they pounced, flooding Kuja with writhing, black as darkness bodies, consuming his heart.
