PLOTS/CHALLENGES
Open Challenge:
Horror!: Come on now. We're all in Raccoon city and most of us have no idea how we got there. Oh, and to sweeten things, the place is surrounded by zombies and other horrors. We should be afraid. VERY afraid. So, your challenge is to show off your horror-writing chops! It doesn't have to all be zombies and brains since that isn't what scares everyone. Pick a personal horror and work it into an RP or a personal monologue! Be creative, and show us why you're in Raccoon City instead of downtown London or Ponyville.
Journals!: Sure, we have the comms, but sometimes you need to say something just to say it. This challenge is to start a personal journal for your character. It's a great way to get across what they are thinking or doing and to open up opportunities for future roleplays. This can easily be rolled in with the Horror! challenge.
Journals should be posted on the new asylum,rc_journals! Everyone please join.
Just-For-Fun:
Dreamscapes!: Tricell has been working on a drug for riot control, as rumors of infection traveling into the city spread. The problem is, the equipment for mixing is connected to the sewage system (for disposal of DE-ACTIVATED substances) and the water system (For obvious reasons). Unfortunately, there has been a mechanical error in the sekret processing lab and the drug has been released in concentrated form! Onoes!
Anyhow, here's the skinny. The drug is meant to cause heavy sedation but the scientists were still trying to work the kinks out. Unwanted side effects are hallucinations, sensations of euphoria, sleepwalking, and incredibly vivid dreams (aka dreams where the dreamer is aware of the state and/or can control their actions to alter what is happening). Because of the concentration of the drug vs the ratio of water or waste, not everyone will be effected, but for those who'd like to be, just roll with it. Characters with supernatural powers may very well find themselves in other people's dreams!
This is a just for fun plot. It's cracky and thus will not ever be a huge part of the overall goings on in town. It's not a giant conspiracy, just a chance for characters with no other reason to interact to try it out or to have a few giggles... or get your smut out of the way. Whatever.
I will be adding a metaplot (overall plot, IE Raccoon City/RE based with repercussions board-wide, advancing the background story) as soon as I have the details written up fully.
