Brooke is running for mayor of Yuletown and thinks she should be in a relationship. She was widowed many years ago and has had casual relationships since, as she was very much in love with her wife. I'd like the character to also be Brooke's campaign manager - that way she has a reason to be in the relationship/investment in Brooke's election as well. The idea would be to start things off as convenient/a fling and for them to catch feelings.
I'd adore Anne Hathaway or Emily Blunt, played late thirties/early forties.
