Time: November 27, 1998 - Mid/Late Afternoon Place: St. Mungo's Who: Sarah Fawcett & Open What: Sarah's taking her weekly turn on the Emergency Floo. Who might come through?
Sarah had been enjoying the relative calm of the Tuesday afternoon shift on the Emergency Floo. She was spending most of the week training under more advanced Healers in the Spell Damage Ward now, but still drew one to two shifts per week manning the emergency grate - like most third year trainees. Her last few had seemed to all be on weekend evenings, notoriously busy times in emergency. Thankfully, this shift had only been moderately busy and she'd had plenty of time to catch up on paperwork in between patients. She was just experiencing her first true lull of the afternoon and was contemplating pulling out one of her textbooks - mid-year exams were right around the corner after all - when the Floo flared to life yet again. No rest for the weary, I guess, she thought, springing to her feet and moving towards the grate to see who her next patient would be.
