Amanda the pitbull face always made the girl nervous. The pressure to prove that violence wasn't neccessary cranked up forcing a hard swallow from the sprite.
The first word from the most influencial person in her life brought a wave of relief that relaxed all the flinched twitchy parts. She was right. A fast closing wound wasn't a big deal really in comparison to some of the things in the world, but it did encourage her to tell the redhead about the other kooky bits she'd noticed since then. Me too? Confusion pinched the bard's face until she felt her friend push her back down onto the counter surface. "Right, heh. Then there's that." A soft cough cleared some of her embaressment. So she randomly floated in the air. That wasn't that weird.... suuuure. Only Amanda knew just what to say to put a smile back on Zoe's face when she was this nervous. Hazel eyes sparkled over a beaming grin as she replied glowingly, "And you'll always be my Cap'n. Oh captain my captain." Her regular sillyness settled into her boisterous attempt at a salute. Somehow it didn't matter anymore what all this insanity turned out to be. She could definitely see it through with Amanda's faith. Besides Amanda was never wrong. So if the not so clean marine believed Zoe could see it through and still be her own Zoe self than she would. It was just that simple.
