Gasping in mock shock a hand pressed to her chest with a comedically wounded expression. "I am the glue that holds that woman together and the dye that turns her hair grey," she replied incredulously. "Wait.." Expressive eyes rolled up as though really considering the false slip of lips. "Oh, I was quite comfortable until she cut and run." Clearing her throat the bard tossed off the truth of the statement. "But the more important question is... what the hell have you been up to, Cap'n?" Rolling onto her side Zoe propped her head up on an open palm her kind gaze earnestly searching for her best friend's current state. Part of her needed to know that Amanda was more than healthy, but happy too. Wierd drama could wait until after they had caught up.
