The world flew by through the window to her side. Soon enough the blurred objects disappeared and reality set back in as the car slowed to a stop, however, it wasn't until the noise of the parking break being set rang in her ears that full realization that they had finally stopped set in through her own thoughts. Words from the empath's mouth caused dark eyes to be turned towards the other woman and a slight unsure frown fell over the slayers lip before she swallowed, voice barely creeping as a whisper. "I've missed you too." The telepath simply just moving on to unlocking the doors made everything seem 'normal' in a sense again and Kel felt her body bolting out of the car. How she'd longed for things to simply be better between her and Emma, how Kel had wanted, desperately needed Emma to understand what was going on inside her head and heart, but the words always failed her. Swinging the door open quickly long legs pushed the slayer out of the car mere seconds after the words had been uttered on her behalf. Would Emma ever figure it out? Would she ever not feel like she was being stabbed in the heart again on a daily basis? Things had been so good, so wonderful... Why now? Why? Stuffing her hands in her pockets Kel waited for the redhead to climb out of the car as well before nodding down the boardwalk. "Plenty of stuff to do down there." The slayer was beginning to feel like she didn't even know who Emma was anymore, this new job, her weird hours, everything made Kel wonder what they were even doing anymore. The doubts in the tough girls own mind were breaking her heart a little more every single day, but when she was around the empath she pushed all feelings and doubts like that aside. Things were awkward enough all ready... Maybe... maybe going out like this tonight would make things better? She could only hope. Kicking around a crushed can for a second allowed the telepath time to exit the car and sort her self out before Kel nodded down the street. "Food, games, movies, whatever we might wanna do." Turning the baby dark slayer began kicking the can down the street in front of her as she ventured towards the entertainment promised by bright lights and almost carnival like sounds.
