Willow found herself zoning out to the sounds of Kelsey’s ministrations on the dummy. The sound of cracking wood reminded her of the days when she would just watch Buffy training with Giles. Those days were of course few, but she remembered them well. Then when Kennedy had taken control of the slayer back in Sunnydale, she remembered how tough she was on them. Remembering how hard it was to watch as your friends died around you, Willow had become one with them all, remembered everything from that moment. Tapping into the white pure power of the gods and seeing bliss on every persons face, than it faded and than there were slayers. Girls all over the world, closing her eyes she smiled but soon it was interrupted. Everything below shaking and than a stream of light burst through the floor. Willow had left everything there, the candles the charms and was out of there in an instant. She remembered the bus ride and how everyone was losing a lot of blood, how Buffy and Spike were left behind.
There was a lot she remembered from the past couple of years. Pain and Happiness and how the pain came crashing in waved around her. Everything she had ever known and loved were gone, her home and her lovers before. She remembered holding the limp body of her love, Tara. As the memories filled her mind she felt the tears weld up in her eyes, pain tugging at her heart again. It had been over a year and here she was remembering, she felt the magic crackle on her fingertips and plant deep black roots. She blinked and pushed her feelings to the side and slowly the roots sided and the magic stopped. ”Fuck.” she blinked and wiped away the tears.
“Are you ok?” Willow stopped her running and realized how stupid she was for walking closer to this girl. She looked around and saw all the splinters and chunks of wood, she wondered how a demon looked after this girl was through? Smiling she approached the girl, “I can help with that if you like?”
