For a moment she merely watched Sita's approach curious, but not fearful of what she might do. Katherine's was surprised by the shouldering but spun without eagerly stepping out of her sister's way. She didn't wish to make her feel trapped by any means. That one sentence rang in her mind over and over as watched her younger sibling take to the stairs in stunned shock. As much as she despised the authoritarian rearing style of their parents she honestly never thought they would go so far. It seemed she really did know nothing, nothing of them and worse yet nothing of the girl she regretfully left behind. Her feet were leadened as she climbed the stairs cursing herself and them for failing all the hope and promise that once lived in young Sita's eyes.
